Eddie Rapp of New Jersey looks fondly at charms tied in his hair Nov. 19 in Central Park. The charms are representations of his family, given to him by different family members. Rapp plays violin in the park five to six days a week.

Eddie Rapp's charms are braided into his hair as a permanent reminder of what his family means to him. He lost them once in Times Square, but later found them and said he was "meant to have (them)".
